這個系列的墨水是和染織專門家「京都草木染研究所」與TAG STATIONERY所合作開發的染料墨水。
這種染料的特性是能夠滲透紙張達到濃淡漸層的最佳表現。
〇染料墨水由於是水溶性墨水，在書寫之後以水筆等輕輕暈染，可以達到類似水彩等的效果。

主要針對日本古代的染色・織物及和服，草木染的古代染織技術及習俗到現代染織工藝美術，以及纖維藝術等造型表現等的染織文化進行研究。
