Ink mixing workshop
On February 2nd, we held an ink mixing workshop at &PEPERS in Gojo, Kyoto, as part of a workshop by modern calligraphy artist Veronica Halim. I was fascinated by the participants as they made their own inks, forgetting my role as a staff member.
Mr. Takahashi, TAG STATIONERY's ink production advisor, gave a lecture on the basics of color mixing, giving the attendees a glimpse into the depth of color and the appeal of dyes.
This time, the content, including the lecture, was short, about 30 to 40 minutes, but we are planning to have a more thorough session next time, so please look forward to it.
