You will practice copperplate calligraphy while enjoying the beautiful world of ink shades created by the color mixing experience, and create a "card set" (2 cards and a card holder).

Veronica Halim × BOX＆NEEDLE Modern Calligraphy Lesson and Original Ink Making Workshop

Lecturer: Veronica Halim
We will be hosting a special workshop with Indonesian calligrapher Veronica Halim. After learning the basics of modern calligraphy through Veronica's demonstration, you will receive a lecture on color mixing from TAG STATIONERY, a stationery and miscellaneous goods manufacturer in Kyoto. You will mix your own ink in your favorite color using the dye ink brand "Kyoto no Oto". Finally, you will finish off a message card with the mixed ink. You can take your original mixed ink home with you.

Workshop to enjoy handwriting with original ink with TAG STATIONERY / Futako Tamagawa
Date and time: 5/26 (Sun) 10:00-12:00 5/26 (Sun) 14:00-16:00
Capacity: 12 people per session

Lecturer: Koichi Moriuchi (TAG STATIONERY)
What's included in the workshop: 2 fountain pens (fine and broad) 30ml of ink to take home
What to bring: Drink, apron or clothes you don't mind getting dirty
You will receive a lecture on color mixing know-how and will mix your own original ink in the color of your choice.
You will be taught simple ways to use a fountain pen and will be able to rediscover the joy of handwriting.
It is also recommended for those new to fountain pens.
There will also be a short talk with brand director Moriuchi about the development of the ink brand.
